The international hit tour returning to Europe in spring 2027
Hans Zimmer’s music is epic, emotional, visually powerful, innovative and narrative at the same time. It goes beyond film music, it is an experience for all the senses.
As musical director and curator, Hans Zimmer personally oversees the concert series “The World of Hans Zimmer.” Although the maestro does not appear on stage himself, this show is a highlight of the highest class and a delight for all fans. Even before the international successful tour “A New Dimension” returns to the largest arenas in Europe in October 2026, the tour is already being extended with additional dates in spring 2027.
The audience embarks on an emotional journey through 40 years of the most important works of the legendary composer, presented in a unique and breathtaking setting. Zimmer’s distinctive orchestral suites, newly arranged exclusively for this production, merge with impressive visual projections, powerful sound design and moving solo performances to create an unforgettable live experience.
Hans Zimmer says: “What distinguishes ‘The World of Hans Zimmer’ from ‘Hans Zimmer Live’ is that it reflects my romantic side much more strongly, the romantic pieces I have written. It focuses more on my orchestral works and the soloists I have worked with. I wanted to step back and give the musicians complete freedom to entertain the audience and show how brilliant they are.”
Multiple Grammy nominated Matt Dunkley brings the magic of Zimmer’s works to the stage from autumn 2026 together with top soloists from Hans Zimmer’s talent pool, the first class Odesa Orchestra & Friends, and the exceptional Nairobi Chamber Chorus. Dunkley is one of the world’s leading orchestrators, arrangers and conductors. His impressive career is closely linked to the world of film and shaped by a long standing collaboration with Hans Zimmer.
Since the first performance of the predecessor concert series “The World of Hans Zimmer – A Symphonic Celebration” in 2018 in Germany, this has developed into the internationally acclaimed concert series “The World of Hans Zimmer,” which has so far delighted more than 2 million visitors worldwide.
The new album “The World of Hans Zimmer – Part II ‘A New Dimension’” was released at the end of January 2025 via Sony Music Classical.
