Everyone, please stand on your tiptoes! There’s some news from the Grammel house! On Saturday, March 15, 2025, Sascha Grammel will perform at St. Jakobshalle Basel.

After his four previous, wildly celebrated, highly praised, and dearly loved live programs “HETZ MICH NICHT!”, “KEINE ANHUNG”, “ICH FIND’S LUSTIG” and most recently “FAST FERTIG!”, our irrepressibly cheerful and blond-highlighted Spandau ventriloquist pride is now pulling out his latest, emotionally charged, yet wonderfully silly live program “WÜNSCH DIR WAS” from the hat, sleeve, or rather, from his belly.

From the very first seconds of “WÜNSCH DIR WAS”, it becomes clear why Grammel didn’t just accidentally learn the small ABC, the big multiplication table, and how to ride a bike with one hand on an almost real Spandau gingerbread horse. So sweet as cotton candy and clever as pudding powder, El Grammeloni once again wins with his unique, never too serious, childlike humor, his enviable, chronically happy disposition, and his fearless penchant for pure nonsense. “WÜNSCH DIR WAS” is Grammel’s latest, craziest, wonderfully quirky joyride into the delightful, wild world of ventriloquist comedy.

It’s an all-around funny, playful, and intergenerational family outing into the blue or the green, with all the bags, packs, and people. And all the extras. With the unshakable promise that in the end, everything will be okay. That dreams come true if you just believe in them strongly enough. That fairy tales come true and that sorrow and worries will surely fade away. And in the end, friendship, love, courage, and honesty will always win.

So, whether you’re a long-time fan or a new Grammel enthusiast, you can expect the full Puppet Comedy experience with “WÜNSCH DIR WAS”! But beware: this time, our dear Sascha “I think I just forgot my lines” Grammel and his incomparable puppet crew are absolutely uncontrollable. Why should they be? “WÜNSCH DIR WAS” is a colorful mix of the finest Grammel style! With icing on top and a guarantee of sore laughter muscles! And Scotland wouldn’t be Scotland, a shrimp wouldn’t be a shrimp, and Grammel wouldn’t be Grammel if there weren’t a few tears of emotion shed here and there…

🚈 Getting to St. Jakobshalle Basel
From January to December 2025, construction work will take place at the St. Jakob intersection up to the Birs Bridge, as well as on Zeughausstrasse. Detailed information can be found in the resident notice from the Civil Engineering Office of Basel-Stadt.
