We live in a world where toasters are smarter than we are, where we go jogging so we do not disappoint our fitness trackers, and where we are kinder to AI than to our loved ones. In short, yes, we have all become wonderfully crazy. But how do you even make comedy out of it when reality itself is already more absurd than any joke?
To top this new madness, it takes a real superhero. And here he comes. When the curtain rises and the spotlight hits him, Ralf Schmitz becomes SCHMITZMÄN, the last of his kind.
He races across the stage with the speed of Flash. His punchlines hit like Thor’s hammer. With Superman’s X-ray vision, he looks into people’s souls and instantly knows what they want, and he gives them exactly that. With his ultimate superpower, SCHMITZMÄN makes people laugh.
And he knows that with great power comes great responsibility. That is why he keeps going where others would have given up long ago. Superheroes do not quit. He playfully bends space and time. An evening with SCHMITZMÄN flies by so fast that afterwards you can only ask, what was that, did that really just happen, and why am I so happy even though my stomach hurts? The answer is simple. SCHMITZMÄN happened.
With speed, heart and full physical commitment, he takes us on a parabolic flight to the edge of madness. The result is an evening of real weightlessness, with Ralf Schmitz at a level he has never reached before.
In his new show, he returns to where he is strongest, right in the middle of our everyday lives, right in the middle of our thoughts. Like no one else, Ralf Schmitz combines stand up, improv comedy and audience interaction live into a festival of good vibes that only a true SCHMITZMÄN can bring to the stage.
With affection, he pokes fun at his fellow superheroes from film history, zaps through their biggest quirks and mishaps, and keeps landing right back with us. Because Ralf knows the real superheroes are sitting right in front of him in the audience. Whether nurse, bus driver or sleep deprived parents, he joins them and celebrates them as they deserve.
That is where Ralf shows his greatest strength. SCHMITZMÄN is one of us. He likes our quirks, he understands our lovable oddities, and like a true superhero, he turns our chaos into a real happy ending. And in the end, thanks to SCHMITZMÄN, we realise that as long as we can laugh together, we may still be a mess, but we are far from lost.

A supervised cloakroom is available for you to store your personal belongings safely. Cash payment is not possible. The fee is CHF 3 per item of clothing, CHF 3 per stroller, and CHF 5 per bag or suitcase.
