Özcan Cosar will be on a major tour in 2026 with his new show “VIP” and will also come to Switzerland in 2027. “VIP” is comedy that entertains and stays with you. In it, Özcan explores one central question: “Who’s actually important here?” In “VIP,” he humorously and sharply takes aim at the absurd VIP culture. The audience’s favorite Swabian shows who is truly important: the people who are never in the spotlight.
“VIP” stands for a life in the limelight: exclusive parties, first-class flights, bodyguards at the breakfast buffet – at least in many people’s imagination. Özcan Cosar knows better. With “VIP,” he takes apart the concept of the “Very Important Person” with humor. VIP: “Very Irritating Prominence.” As a comedian, he has performed on the biggest stages for years, but in his new show he reveals that behind the flashlights and applause, things often look quite normal – or quite absurd.
Who actually decides who’s important? And why do some people act as if they are, even though they clearly aren’t? At the same time, he draws attention to the real stars of everyday life – people who never walk red carpets but form the foundation of our society: educators, elderly care workers, parents, delivery drivers, emergency doctors – true heroes in the shadow of the selfie spotlight.
Of course, Özcan remains Özcan: intelligent, ironic, charming, and with his unmistakable mix of comedy, acting, and dance on stage.
