International karate tournament for children and youth aged 9 to 20. Held according to the guidelines of the World Karate Federation and supported by the Swiss Karate Federation. For over 15 years, the Swiss Junior Open has attracted talented young karate athletes to Basel to compete in an international competitive environment.

🚈 Getting to St. Jakobshalle Basel
From January to December 2025, construction work will take place at the St. Jakob intersection up to the Birs Bridge, as well as on Zeughausstrasse. Detailed information can be found in the resident notice from the Civil Engineering Office of Basel-Stadt.
