The Energy Star Night takes place shortly before Christmas. For the first time in its 20-year history, the indoor event will not take place in Zurich but in Basel. The 20th edition of the well-known and legendary music event will take place on Friday, December 15, 2023 in the St. Jakobshalle, which was completely renovated in 2018. “Basel’s St. Jakobshalle is currently the only hall in Switzerland that, along with Zurich’s Hallenstadion, meets the Energy Star Night requirements in terms of capacity and technical and logistical possibilities,” explains Pascal Frei. In addition, Energy would like to go on tour with its major events more in the future, true to the motto “Fully with you”, so that it is close to the regional listeners and local needs and, if possible, to hold the events at all five broadcasting locations.
