From 11.01. – 14.01.2024 the Longines CHI Classics Basel will take place in the St. Jakobshalle.

World-class equestrian sport in Basel

Welcome to the horse festival at five-star level. The best show jumpers have been coming to Basel since 2010. In 2023, the best in dressage were also invited with great success. From 11th to 14th January 2024, these two disciplines will count towards the World Cup ranking again. In addition, the Vaulting World Cup final will be held at the upcoming event in the St. Jakobshalle.

Sport in focus

The best of the world elite will start in all three disciplines with their wonderful horses. The winners in January 2023 were the Olympic champion Jessica von Bredow-Werndl from Germany in dressage and the world number 1 Henrik von Eckermann from Sweden in jumping.

The program highlights

Every single day is worth a visit. On Thursday the Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois opening ceremony and awards will take place. The first tests in vaulting and dressage can be seen on Friday. On Saturday the finals of the U25 riders and the decision in the dressage world cup are on the agenda.

And on Sunday, the sporting highlights are the Vaulting World Cup final and the program will end with the LONGINES FEI Jumping World CupTM presented by Bank J. Safra Sarasin. In addition to the sport and the daily show, it is worth visiting the numerous exhibitors and restaurants with culinary delights during the breaks.
